I loved learning about this creature. I think you did a great job with your research and presentation- showing the guy from the inside out. I like how you got the fur sticking up in the back but I think you could go further describing the texture of the fur in at least one of your images to show how the layers clump and wrap around the body. Sometimes it helps to think about the silhouette that the fur would make if you had to simplify it to an outline.
The push yourself piece piece has a very successful palette and atmosphere. More attention to overall edges and texture is needed. You could do with drawing some rock studies (just pencil first though!)
